Role Overview:
As an Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing our external audit engagements. You will be responsible for leading a team of auditors, planning and executing audit projects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also work closely with clients to understand their business processes and make recommendations for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire audit process, from planning to completion.
- Lead a team of auditors and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional service.
- Review and analyze financial statements and audit reports, identifying any potential issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
- Participate in the recruitment and training of audit staff.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of audit methodologies and best practices.
Candidate Profile:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 5 years of experience in external audit.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of auditing standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and development.
