Role: Lead Signage Installer
Salary: £37K-£39K + overtime opportunities
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8.30-5pm (there will be some earlier starts and later finish times on occasion) – with additional overtime

My client are a leading provider of large format graphics and signage are looking for an experienced Lead Installer to join their team. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience and must be able to carry out installs whilst also managing the other team members.
Role:
Installation of internal and external signage, including but not limited to:
- Way finding systems, vinyl application, hoardings, totems, banners.
- Working with media/substrates such as Acrylic, ACM, Foamex, Window Vinyl, Illuminated lighting systems.
- Organising multiple install teams, liaising with account managers and production, to ensure that projects are completed to a high standard and within the required timeframe.
- Develop trainee members of staff.
- Ensure that the preparation of graphics/signage is completed on time and to a high-quality standard.
- Carry out signage installations using power tools and access equipment in a safe effective manner. Working at height is required.
- Perform maintenance and repairs to signage as and when required.
- Maintain all relevant installation equipment in addition to both hand and power tools.
- Effectively plan installs and work under own initiative when on site, solving any issues that may arise during the install.
- Working unsupervised or as part of a team supporting the lead installer on projects, always maintaining a high standard of finish.
- Photograph completed work and share with the wider display teams.
- Coordinate installation projects in conjunction with external contractors and additional installation teams.
- Undertake any other duties as requested by company management and provide cover for production areas.
- Support in factory/warehouse operation – handling deliveries, supporting with the goods in process and operating the forklift when required.
- Flexible and willingness to work overtime when required.
- Full clean driving license essential, maintain company vehicle, and share in the driving duties when travelling to and from installation locations.
- Utilise company vehicle to load and transport goods as required by management.
- Work towards obtaining and maintaining all required licenses in the timeframe specified by the company.
