Production Manager – Large Format Print & Signage
Location: Leeds
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000
Are you an experienced Production Manager in the Large Format Print & Signage industry? Looking for a senior role where you can lead a talented production team and drive efficiency in a fast-paced environment?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Production Manager to take control of our busy large format production department. This is a senior position, reporting directly to senior management, where you’ll oversee the entire production process, ensuring high-quality output, smooth operations, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and schedule production from artwork through to dispatch
- Manage all production staff, including rotas, overtime, holidays, and shift patterns (including some weekends)
- Manage stock levels, order materials, and oversee goods in vs. received stock to ensure accurate purchasing procedures
- Oversee machine maintenance, ensure Health & Safety compliance, and maintain high housekeeping standards
- Communicate directly with clients, both over the phone and in person, ensuring smooth project execution
- Uphold and enhance our Continuous Improvement Program to maintain top-quality production standards
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in large format print production, with a proven track record of managing a busy production team
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Suite software and RIP software for large format printing
- Ability to manage people, schedules, and workloads efficiently
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to follow instructions but also take initiative
- Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with a dedication to high standards
