AUDIT DIRECTOR - RI

This one opportunity we are asked to recruit for is for a leading firm of Accountants and Business Advisers operating across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics. They have a wide network of employees and an abundance of inspiring opportunities to join one of their many offices. As a top ten accountancy firm in the UK and one of largest SME practices. Based from Burnley working from home options, a clear progression route to Partner, or this may suit someone already operating at Partner level and looking for a new challenge.
You would be joining a local office of circa 26 colleagues and also working closely with our wider North West region as a key member of the leadership team. You will work in partnership with our Office Managing Partner to drive the success of the Burnley team and our Audit service line.
Day to day duties
Lead in dealing with large, technically complex clients
Analyse complex business situations to identify key issues and priorities
Provide advice to owner managers on both business and personal matters and thereby act as a trusted business adviser to our clients
Oversee all aspects of client engagement assuming overall responsibility for allocating work and ensuring client service is maintained at a high level
Manage the end to end audit process, including budgets and timescales. You will be analysing complex business situations to identify key issues and priorities
Of course you will be ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualified
Experience of auditing clients within a variety of industries
Proven capability of managing a large portfolio of clients and their audits
Experience coaching and mentoring a team
Ideally RI status (although we can support you in qualifying for this)
Salary circa £90,000 to £120,000 depending on your experience and at what level you will join at.
