Our Liverpool practice serves a diverse range of clients across various industries, with a particular focus on the manufacturing and hospitality sector. We also have back-office support from our dedicated team in India.


More About the Role

Ideal Candidate:

Someone who has already stepped up from accounts production

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing debtor management with the help of an admin assistant.

  • Managing the overall budget of the firm.

  • Mentoring existing client managers.

  • Handling staffing and resourcing, including interviewing and hiring (with support).

  • Growing the practice with a strategic 5-year plan in collaboration with the chairman.

  • Liaising with our team in India and providing feedback.

Is This You?

  • Qualifications:ACA or ACCA qualified with 2-3 years post-membership.

  • Experience:4-5+ years of proven, ideally client-facing, post-qualification experience in a practice environment.

  • Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of software like Xero, Dext, Syft Analytics, Inform Direct, and Senta (helpful but not essential).

  • Passionate about customer service and people development.

  • Positive, personable, and responsive.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in supervising, managing, and developing team members.

  • Proactive with strategic project management and troubleshooting skills.

  • Note:A practice certificate is not required initially but will be needed when appointed to the board of directors.
