The Role
Become a vital part of the Audit & Assurance department, working with a talented team and under the leadership of a Director with a top-tier accountancy background.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting to the Audit Manager.
Leading and managing audit assignments of varying sizes.
Supervising and mentoring junior staff.
Handling audit clients ranging from small businesses to large UK multi-nationals.
Conducting proactive audit planning and execution.
Engaging in business development and client upselling.
Reviewing internal practices and ensuring audit quality.
Required Skills
Essential:
Part qualified ACA Accountant.
At least 2 years of Audit and Assurance experience.
Familiarity with FRS 102 / UK GAAP.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
Experience with CaseWare audit software or similar tools.
Understanding of IFRS.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proactive, independent, and capable of training junior staff.
