Job Title: Production All Rounder – Large Format
Salary: £28K-£30K depending on experience + overtime
Type of Hours 9am-5.30 Monday-Friday
Location: Slough
My client are a well-established and fast moving, large format Print and Sign production company who are looking for an experienced Production all rounder to join their team.
The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in design and layout, artwork preparation, proofing, amending files, printing and finishing.
This hands-on role will require a highly motivated, self-disciplined team player to work alongside the existing team. You will need to be adaptable and able to multi task.
Skills in the following disciplines would be beneficial.
Duties will include:
• Artwork preparation, proofing to customer, agreeing amendments and printing (we use an HP Latex wide format printer running from an Onyx RIP), laminating, vinyl cutting and being responsible for workload planning for this machinery.
• Design & layout from customer brief on various signage, vehicles, etc.
• The successful candidate must have very good hands on experience of using Adobe Illustrator (non-negotiable), ideally Photoshop and other CC software.
• Printing, cutting and laminating vinyl
About you:
• A minimum of 3 years plus experience within the Large format / Signage industry.
• Experience using plotters, large format printers and laminators
•Software experience, design flare, and an eye for detail are essential.
• Clean driving licence
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Reliable, good time keeping and strong work ethic
• Sense of humour, professional, flexible, enthusiastic, be a good communicator, well organised and be able to work alone as well as part of a team
