Role: Sign Maker / Installer
Location: Bedford
Salary: £30K + overtime opportunities
Hours – Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
We client are looking for a skilled Sign Maker and Installer to join their friendly, professional team to help them create and install a wide and exciting range of signage / large format graphics.
The perfect candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude, be able to maintain our high standards of workmanship and quality, be self-motivated and work well within a team environment.
The role includes:
· Operate and maintain large format printers, vinyl cutters and laminators.
· In-house production.
· Installing all types of internal and external signage, including fascia and post mounted signs.
· Application of vinyl onto a variety of substrates including vehicles and window graphics as well as other graphics and signage.
· Interpreting briefs accurately with a great understanding of different signage and manufacturing techniques.
· Sign making, working with a wide range of substrates including Dibond, acrylics, metals, wood, vinyl and Foamex, to a consistently high standard.
· Ensuring all installations are completed on time, to budget and to our usual high standards.
· Following all company procedures and guidelines to ensure all signs are fitted safely and securely.
· Taking responsibility for your own and others’ health and safety when working.
· Ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements are understood and followed.
· Providing outstanding customer service to our clients and others at all times.
What we would like from you:
· A minimum of two years' industry experience making and installing a wide range of signage solutions.
· Driving licence
